Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- Must have at least a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess good mathematical skills.
- Must have at least one year of experience in a GMP production environment and a Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
- Must have adequate comprehension of the English language.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs. and over occasionally.
- Must have no allergies, and be environmentally okay with exposure to vitamin, mineral, herbal, and OTC products, disagreeable odors, high noise levels, and continuous standing.
- Experience as a lead person in a manufacturing environment
- PC experience.

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Supervise day-to-day operations of nutraceutical manufacturing lines, including blending, encapsulation, and tablet pressing.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and SOPs throughout the production process.
- Lead, train, and schedule production team members to meet daily output and quality goals.
- Monitor production metrics and adjust workflow to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Perform in-process quality checks and coordinate with Quality Assurance for inspections and documentation.
- Maintain accurate batch records, production logs, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety issues promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized production area.
- Assist in onboarding and training new manufacturing employees.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly.
- Standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Work in temperature-controlled or high-humidity environments as needed.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Knowledge is a plus.
