38.00—44.00 HR DOE
Requirements of position




4 electrician open jobs in Chicago  for the 2nd shift and 3rd shift. These openings are PERM. direct hire roles.    Pay range is $38--44.00 HR W2 DOE
Side note, they really want someone with a strong electrical background and strong PLC experience. This is a quick process it’s one in person interview 
This is in a bakery facility setting that produces pastries.
Hours for Shift:
2nd Shift: 2P-10:30 PM (2 openings)
3rd Shift: 10P-6:30 AM (2 openings)
Just like any other electrician you must be open to working the weekend and staying over as needed. 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial electrical role
  • 2+ years of PLC experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment for performance and product quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • PC skills, including Excel and Word
Responsibilities
  • As an Electrician, you’ll be essential to keeping our production equipment running safely and efficiently, helping us deliver the delicious baked goods that families across the country love
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyors, PLCs, and control systems
  • Support PLC systems: backup and restore Allen-Bradley and Schneider programs
  • Troubleshoot Ethernet networks and device IPs
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Provide electrical expertise on capital projects and equipment upgrades
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments for diagnostics and repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance on power systems and air compressors
  • Uphold and promote safety in all tasks and environments
  • Work in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently; occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with help
  • Work at heights, in tight spaces, and in varying temperatures
  • Use PPE including safety glasses, bump caps, and hearing protection
  • Regular use of hand tools and computers for data entry
