- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Food Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the nutraceutical, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and HACCP regulations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with line staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred:
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure.

| The Manufacturing Manager Assistant will support the Manufacturing Manager in overseeing day-to-day production operations, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining high-quality standards, improving operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating daily production schedules, labor assignments, and workflow to meet manufacturing goals.
- Monitor production lines to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Support inventory management of raw materials and packaging components in coordination with procurement and warehouse teams.
- Help prepare and maintain production documentation, including batch records, deviation reports, and SOPs.
- Assist with training and onboarding of production staff, including safety and cGMP procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Help troubleshoot production issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, and maintenance teams to support new product launches and process improvements.
- Track KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, and yield performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area in compliance with safety and cleanliness protocols.
