Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in aviation, manufacturing, or distribution
- Strong, hands-on experience with Quantum (Component Control) software is mandatory
- High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial models)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control principles
- Proven success in managing collections and cash flow forecasting
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible and willing to be on-site, with hybrid options based on performance and trust
- Work Environment & Schedule: Primarily on-site position; hybrid/remote flexibility may be earned over time
- Fast-paced, small-team environment where collaboration and accountability are key
- Not a strict 9-to-5; requires commitment and adaptability based on business needs

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Oversee and manage all functions of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Complete and lead monthly closings and preparation of financial statements
- Execute ACH and wire transfers, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Perform monthly reconciliations for all accounts
- Lead and manage collections activities, maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring cash flow
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, including budgeting and cash flow projections
- Generate and deliver clear and actionable financial reports to leadership
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
- Serve as the key accounting contact for external partners, including banks and auditors
- Use Quantum (Component Control) software daily for accounting and inventory-related tasks
- Maintain and improve financial processes and systems
Provide financial insight to support operational and strategic decisions
