• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely under time-sensitive conditions.

Full Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm.
Job Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician supports safe, reliable production by performing mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment used in food manufacturing. This role ensures uptime, addresses mechanical failures, and contributes to continuous improvement in
equipment reliability and facility upkeep.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
• Troubleshoot, fix, and reconstruct mechanical parts such as motors, conveyors, gearboxes,
pumps, and packaging machinery.
• Perform emergency breakdown repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to prevent repeat failures.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Execution
• Complete scheduled PMs per CMMS guidelines and document work performed.
• Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, abnormal noise, and operational risks.
• Support lubrication, adjustments, calibration, and component replacement activities.
Facility & Utility System Support
• Maintain facility infrastructure including piping, HVAC components, lighting, and compressed air
systems.
• Assist with boiler, refrigeration, and water systems as qualified.
• Ensure safe and compliant operation of all building support systems.
Safety, Compliance & Documentation
• Adhere to all OSHA, SQF, and food safety requirements during maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate work orders, part usage logs, and service notes.
• Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
• Recommend improvements to enhance mechanical reliability and reduce downtime.
• Support installation, startup, and optimization of new machinery.
• Partner with production teams to troubleshoot recurring operational issues.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an industrial mechanic or maintenance technician in a
manufacturing environment (food industry strongly preferred).

• Trade school, technical certification, or apprenticeship training in industrial maintenance.
