The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a CNC Machinist to work at a company located in the Lansing, MIarea!Job Title CNC MachinistPosition Location Lansing, MI Pay/hours for position Payrate: $18-33.50 (Depending on level of experience) Shift: 2nd (must be available to train on 1st shift)Requirements of position Skills and Qualifications: MUST HAVE experience working in facilities that handle large machining within the automotive sector.
Die Components Expertise – Previous work machining automotive parts such as hoods, doors, and fenders.
Controller Proficiency – Experience with Fanuc and Heidenheim controllers.
Ability to read and work with G-codes comfortably.
Programming at the Controller – Experience programming directly at the controller.
SMIRT programming experience is preferred.
Prior experience operating and/or programming CNC Machines.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities of position Responsibilities: As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating large automotive mills to machine components. You will read and interpret G-codes, program directly at the controller, and may also work with SMIRT programming. Your role will require precision and attention to detail in producing high-quality parts. You must bring your own tools (to a reasonable extent) and have experience in a facility that handles large machining projects within the industry.
