Job Location: Albion, MI
Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $18-$20/hr
First Shift: 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday
Job Description: We are seeking a dependable Machining Support Technician to help keep production running smoothly. This hands-on role supports machining operations through tooling preparation, machine support, material handling, and light machining tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Support CNC machining operations and make basic machine program edits
- Operate manual equipment, including Bridgeport mills and saws
- Perform saw cutting and secondary machining operations
- Maintain tool crib organization and inventory
- Assist with machine setups and general shop support
- Follow all safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Prior machining experience required (CNC experience preferred)
- Haas machine experience is a plus
- Ability to make basic program edits at the machine
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass pre-employment screenings
