Requirements of position
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
· Forklift Experience required.
Responsibilities of position
What You'll Be Doing:
As part of our team, your role will be dynamic, hands-on, and crucial to keeping
operations running smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:
· Forklift Operation: Safely move materials and products throughout the
facility—ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time.
· Machine Operation: Run and monitor essential recycling equipment like
shredders, balers, and conveyors to keep things moving.
· Load/Unload Machines: Manage the flow of materials by loading raw
materials into machines and unloading processed recyclables.
· Performance Monitoring: Inspect equipment regularly, make necessary
adjustments, and report any issues to the maintenance team for quick
resolution.
· Material Sorting: Assist with sorting recyclables before and after
processing to ensure high-quality output.
· Safety First: Always adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE—
your well-being is a top priority!
· Routine Inspections: Perform basic checks and maintenance on
equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, to keep everything in top
working order.
· Material Handling: Transport and store recyclables correctly, helping to
maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to ensure smooth
and efficient operations every shift.
· Environmental Impact: Follow recycling procedures to maintain
standards, reduce contamination, and help make a positive impact on the
environment.
