Job Description:
Jobsquad is currently looking for a production technician in Springdale Arkansas. This position is available immediately and will be hourly to start with.
This job requires the candidate to work closely with technical staff for materials handling, manufacturing operations, testing and documentation, and equipment maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read schematics, assembly drawings, data sheets, and process sheets to perform production and quality control, and when necessary simple trouble-shooting equipment;
- Machine Operator will perform tests, gather data, and write results/reports with assistance from engineering;
- Occasional availability for working on shift starting middle night (no more than 10 times a year), and availability for the shift starting at 5:00 am (more often);
- Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the VinTech Quality System.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school or two-year college graduate;
- Ability to perform all assigned tasks, work independently, and complete work on schedule;
- Follow engineering team’s direction while displaying cooperative and positive (can-do) behavior with co-workers;
- Basic understanding and ability to read prints and schematics, and follow operating instruction;
- Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel);
- Problem-solving skills and efficient management of time and resources.
Preferred
- Experience in operating manufacturing equipment and hands-on experience in tools are highly preferred;
- Experience with carbide tools and manufacturing is helpful, but not necessary;
Physical Requirements
- Sit/stand/walk 8 hrs/day (minimum)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
