 3RD SHIFT - PACKAGING MACHINE OPERATOR 
Position Location




 GERMANTOWN, WI
 
Pay/hours for position





 Shift: 9:50pm-6:00am Monday-Friday with rotating weekends for mandatory OT
 
Compensation: $23.00 per hour + $2.50 Shift Differential
 
Requirements of position




 
  1. 1 year of machine operator experience
 
  1. Have the skill set to do start up, troubleshooting, machinery adjustments, stop/reset, shutdown, clearing jams, and reporting malfunctions
  2. GMP’s
 
 
 
Responsibilities of position





 3rd Shift – Packaging Machine Operator 
 
Location: Germantown, Wisconsin 
 
Shift: 9:50pm-6:00am Monday-Friday with rotating weekends for mandatory OT. They said about 1 time per month for weekends.
 
Compensation: $23.00 per hour + $2.50 Shift Differential
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Data entry and log keeping
  2. Have the skill set to do start up, troubleshooting, machinery adjustments, stop/reset, shutdown, clearing jams, and reporting malfunctions
  3. 1 year of machine operator experience 
  4. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  5. Operates and observes production line equipment to ensure food safety, product quality and conformity meeting customer standards and specifications
  6. Becomes proficient in Sterilize-in-Place (SIP), operation and/or Clean-in-Place (CIP) of assigned filler
  7. Performs basic clean, inspect and lube functions including basic Preventative Maintenance (PMs)
  8. Actively participates in startup, troubleshooting/adjustment, stop/reset and shutdown of line equipment - Clears jams and reports malfunctions to Business Lead/Supervisor as necessary
  9. Performs changeovers - Completes line clears and accurately sets up next item's packaging and coding
  10. Reports out of standard/specification results to the Quality Department and Business Unit Lead/Supervisor
  11. Reports unsafe conditions or other compliance issues to the Business Unit Lead/Supervisor
  12. Completes handwritten instructions and on-line documentation including Quality and Critical Control Point (CCP) checks accurately and at the required frequencies
  13. Maintains accurate and detailed work log (including Factory MES data collection) and inventory records
  14. Monitors and reviews inventory and production levels to achieve the most efficient operating conditions
  15. Maintains assigned work area and production environment in clean orderly condition - completes environmental cleaning requirements as necessary
  16. Actively participates in shift exchanges and work team meetings.
  17. Safely operates forklifts as needed to keep assigned work area supplied with necessary production materials
  18. Completes training/eLearning as required including but not limited to New Employee Onboarding (NEO), Lean Overview, Aseptic Workshop, Chemical Safety, Flow Diagram, etc.
  19. Other duties as assigned
