Responsibilities of position
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Line Operator to join our food
manufacturing team. The Line Operator is responsible for running and
monitoring equipment on the production line to ensure efficient and consistent
output of food products, while meeting all safety, quality, and productivity
standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Set up, operate, and monitor food production line equipment
· Ensure machinery is running properly and adjust settings as needed
· Feed raw materials into machines and monitor product flow
· Inspect products for quality and consistency
· Complete production logs and paperwork accurately
· Clean and sanitize equipment and work area according to sanitation
standards
· Perform minor machine maintenance and notify technicians of major
issues
· Follow all food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and
company procedures
· Assist with start-up and shutdown processes of the production line
· Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:
· 1+ year of experience operating machines in a food production or
manufacturing environment (preferred)
· Understanding of basic machine operations and troubleshooting
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
· Strong attention to detail and focus on safety and quality
· Ability to read and understand production paperwork and instructions
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes temperature-
controlled environment
· Flexible to work overtime or weekends when necessary
