Job Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $22/hour, 6AM-2PM Mon-Fri
Job Description:
- Perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Conduct experiments and tests according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate test data, records, and documentation.
- Ensure products meet quality specifications before release.
- Support and maintain ISO certification requirements.
- Inspect and approve bulk materials before storage or processing.
- Participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare, update, and maintain reports and laboratory records.
- Monitor environmental alarms and communicate issues to operations.
- Follow all environmental, safety, company, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle hazardous waste according to procedures and regulations.
- Assist with updating operating procedures and batch documentation.
- Support the development and validation of analytical methods.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Generate and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Manage laboratory inventory and supplies.
- Maintain sample storage areas and dispose of expired samples.
- Verify and approve raw material documentation and COAs.
- Maintain housekeeping and organization standards in the laboratory.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
