Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $17 per hour, 40 hrs. per week.
Job Description:
Under direct supervisor, maintains and sanitizes work areas., dining and restaurant equipment and utensils, and dining rooms and stocks inventory while following university and state health and safety standards. Performs general kitchen sanitation and ware-washing duties and tasks.
- Performs General kitchen sanitation duties and task and directs teachers, and monitors assigned students and other temporary employees in the proper performance of custodial activities.
- Performs a variety of heavy labor tasks for general kitchen operations; cleans and maintains assigned equipment such as floor scrubbers, carpet vacuum, etc.
- Perform ware-washing duties and tasks. Cleans and sanitize pots, pans, food preparation equipment, and trays. Cleans, sanitizes and performs routine preventive maintenance on dishwasher and other mechanical food preparations equipment.
- Refills and organize service tray display counters, cabinets, or tables; set up tables and other furniture and equipment.
