The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Janitor/Commercial Cleaner to work at a company located in the Jackson, MIarea! Job Title Janitor/Commercial CleanerPosition Location Jackson, MI Pay/hours for position $15/hour Shifts Vary – 10-15 hours per week Evening and/or early morning hours (varies by location)Requirements of position The Jobsquad is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner/Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of local commercial sites in Jackson, MI and the surrounding area. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, as these environments are highly regulated and client-facing. Consistency and pride in your work are essential! Requirements:Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
Proven ability to follow detailed instructions and checklists
Extremely high attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and strong attendance history
Ability to pass background screening
Prior commercial or janitorial cleaning experience preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs
Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout shift

Responsibilities of position Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Clean and sanitize interiors, including lobbies, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and conference areas
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all assigned areas thoroughly
Empty trash and properly dispose of waste
Refill paper products, soap, and other restroom supplies
Clean glass, doors, counters, and high-touch surfaces
Follow strict cleaning checklists and site-specific standards
Secure facilities upon completion of cleaning (where applicable)
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly
