Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator to support daily IT operations with a primary focus on Windows systems administration and end-user support. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and securely. This is a trial hire opportunity based in Hialeah offering a starting salary of $70k.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support via help desk tickets, phone, email, and in-person requests
  • Create and manage user and computer accounts in Active Directory
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, updates, and patches
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues
  • Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, tablets, and other IT equipment
  • Manage and support peripherals such as printers, mobile devices, and VPN access tools
  • Maintain DNS and DHCP records and reservations
  • Install and support business applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other software)
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and equipment
  • Coordinate with internal and enterprise-level IT teams on escalated issues
  • Ensure data security and confidentiality in all IT operations
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field OR equivalent work experience
  • 0–3 years of IT experience with a degree, or 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience without a degree
  • Experience with Windows systems administration and Active Directory
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and common IT support tools
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
