Job Title: Inventory Auditor /3rd Shift
Job Location: Hialeah Gardens
Pay and Hours Direct Hire $19.50/hr
Inventory Auditor will be responsible for verifying inventory accuracy, conducting physical counts, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring products are properly received, stored, and documented.
This position is ideal for someone with warehouse, inventory, receiving, or order-picking experience who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and paying close attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Compare physical inventory against system records and identify discrepancies.
- Investigate inventory variances and report findings to management.
- Verify quantities, product numbers, labels, and locations.
- Audit receiving, picking, staging, and storage activities for accuracy.
- Inspect products for damage, incorrect quantities, or improper labeling.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Use RF scanners, computers, and warehouse inventory systems as required.
- Ensure products are stored in the correct locations and properly organized.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and adjustments.
- Follow all company safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
- Work closely with warehouse, receiving, and operations teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, receiving, order picking, or auditing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.
- Experience using RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive counting and verification tasks.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and communicate issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be comfortable working 3rd Shift / overnight hours.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Must be dependable and have a strong attendance record.
- Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.
