Requirements of position




  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Must be available to travel 60-70% including weekends
  • Must have experience in the wholesale power tool industry  
 
Responsibilities of position

Responsible for maintaining and expanding established National and International accounts through direct sales, prospecting, product demonstrations, and promotion of innovative product offerings.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call national account customers (buying groups) to solicit orders or talk with customers on the sales floor or by phone.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Estimates the delivery date to the customer, based on knowledge of the company’s production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Works with the sales manager to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Manage advertising budgets for each account.
  • Create strategic growth sales plans and proposals for each account and for each calendar year.
  • Gathers and provides new customer data for new accounts set up for the corporate office.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems.
  • You will be traveling internationally 60%-70%, including weekends. 
  • All travel expenses are covered by company, including laptop and cell phone 
Salary:  $25 per hour plus quarterly Commissions
