Shift: M-F 8am – 5pm (40 hrs/wk, overtime as needed)
Requirements of position



The Jobsquad is seeking Interconnection Specialists in Jackson, MI to join our client’s team. 
As an Interconnection Specialist, you’ll support the implementation and coordination of utility-scale solar interconnection projects. You’ll manage applications, track documentation, and act as the link between clients, utility companies, and internal teams. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role that requires strong organization and communication skills.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2–5 years of customer service and data entry experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer, internet, and email use
  • Data entry accuracy and ability to multitask.
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience using CRM or call center systems.
  • Understanding of basic electrical concepts (voltage, current, energy, etc.) is a plus.
 
 
 
 
Responsibilities of position




Responsibilities:
  • Answer and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues or escalate as needed.
  • Document customer interactions in the call center system (CRM)
  • Process applications, agreements, and related paperwork.
  • Handle inquiries across billing, technical support, and account management.
  • Maintain quality standards, follow procedures, and manage time effectively.
Working Conditions:
  • Call center environment with individual workspace.
  • Must be able to sit, talk on the phone, and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
