Requirements of position
 
Seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial processing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.     This is a direct hire role offering both 1st and 2nd shift with starting payrate of $40.92/hour.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other mechanical systems 
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, steam, piping, and valve systems 
  • Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment modifications from blueprints 
  • Complete basic electrical repairs and maintenance (up to 120VAC single phase) 
  • Operate shop tools, rigging equipment, and lifting devices safely 
  • Troubleshoot and maintain high-speed production equipment, including centrifuges, separators, mills, airlocks, and blowers 
  • Inspect, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical components as needed 
  • Follow all safety procedures, plant policies, and operational standards 
  • Participate in required technical training to maintain and improve maintenance skills 
  • Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned 
Qualifications:
  • Journeyman-level experience (or equivalent) in maintenance mechanic, millwright, machine repair, pipefitting/plumbing, machinist, or related skilled trade 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant journeyman-level experience in an industrial or processing environment 
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills 
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings 
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, and industrial maintenance systems preferred
