| We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to support our food manufacturing operations. This is a Direct Hire role with a starting salary range between $25-$35/hour and offers a competitive benefits package as well. This is a 1st shift opportunity working Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and safely wire three-phase motors for proper rotation.
Rebuild and install power transmission systems.
Conduct mechanical repairs and routine maintenance on production machinery.
Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and accurately document service records.
Rebuild or repair various pump types including centrifugal, diaphragm, and progressive cavity.
Perform welding (Stick, flat and horizontal) in accordance with AWS codes.
Conduct general automotive service and repairs as needed.
Comply with all plant safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Understand and adhere to Quality Assurance policies and objectives; follow procedures outlined in the company’s Quality Manual.
Actively participate in training and assist in the skill development of fellow mechanics.
Serve on a rotating on-call schedule every 3 to 4 weeks for emergency maintenance needs.
Demonstrate willingness and ability to complete additional training and courses to advance to Maintenance Mechanic “A” level.
Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of a 2- or 4-year trade/technical school program OR equivalent hands-on experience in maintenance or mechanical fields
Mechanical aptitude with a broad understanding of manufacturing equipment and systems
Electrical knowledge, including motor wiring and troubleshooting
Welding experience in Stick (SMAW) – flat and horizontal positions
Familiarity with various pump types and their repair procedures
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment (hot/cold/wet)
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and automated control systems
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
