Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and observational skills.
- Solid understanding of basic mathematical concepts, including measurements.
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
- Capable of following routine verbal and written instructions.
- Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands:
- Lifting: Up to 40 lbs.
- Standing: Required approximately 100% of the time.
- Walking: Occasional movement to other departments.
- Climbing/ Balancing: Occasional climbing onto machinery.
- Pushing/ Pulling: Frequent movement of boxes, machine parts, etc.
- Bending: Frequent bending required.
- Reaching/ Handling: Includes reaching above the shoulder.
- Speaking/ Hearing: Frequent verbal and written communication.
- Vision: Document inspection and reading required.
Work Environment: This role is performed indoors in a manufacturing or maintenance shop setting. Employees may be exposed to various occupational hazards, including but not limited to:
- Heavy equipment operation
- Machinery and moving parts
- Chemical exposure
- Heights and confined spaces
- Noise
- Use of electrical and non-electrical tools

Job Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical work, repairs, and modifications in the In-Process Mechanic Washroom as scheduled or directed.
- Ensure encapsulation machine setup parts are maintained in proper working condition (e.g., lead lines, spreader boxes, conveyors, gelatin hoses, etc.).
- Manage encapsulation tooling inventory, including wedges, die rolls, and gears.
- Maintain encapsulation tools in a clean, functional state and ensure availability for installation.
- Clean and assemble positive displacement pumps for encapsulation machines.
- Prepare encapsulation tool setups for new production batches.
- Assist encapsulation operators with machine changeovers.
- Serve as a backup encapsulation operator when required.
- Clean and assemble transfer pumps.
- Maintain accurate records and logbooks in compliance with cGMP regulations.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all assigned activities.
- Ensure thorough knowledge and adherence to safety SOPs and position-specific requirements to promote a safe working environment. Compliance with all safety precautions and processes is required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
