 Responsibilities:
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Plumbing certification or license preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in HVAC plumbing or mechanical piping.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC piping, and building codes.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

The HVAC Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems that support HVAC equipment, including chilled water, hot water, condensate drainage, and piping systems. This role ensures systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair plumbing systems associated with HVAC equipment such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and air handling units.
  • Install and maintain piping systems including copper, PVC, steel, and PEX.
  • Connect water supply lines, drainage systems, and condensate lines for HVAC units.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC plumbing systems.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and repair leaks, blockages, or pressure problems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
  • Coordinate with HVAC technicians, electricians, and construction teams.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition.
  • Document completed work, repairs, and maintenance activities.
