Pay/hours for position

 $15-17/ hr/ 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM M-F, some overtime

Requirements of position

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Requires some Assembly experience. Small diesel engines and electric generator experience is a plus.

Must be able to comprehend basic math calculations.  Must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in English to interact with clients and employees.

 

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities of position

Maintain equipment in good working order.

Study, review and be familiar with all specifications, materials, requirements, and conditions prior to the start of a job.

Assure that the chain of command is followed and that lines of communication are open.

Work repair set up generators as necessary and needed, along with duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Inform the Production Manager and the Service - Support Manager of any changes from the normal accustomed standards in relationship to any units that have been received.

The responsibilities of the technician include but are not necessarily limited to:

Will help out in the parts department as and when necessary.

Maintaining high quality projects.

Checking the materials list prior to the start of a job to ensure the smooth flow of work and on-time job completion.

Notify the office of all damaged equipment and material.

Communicate with the Production Manager on all project problems relating to materials, specifications, and interpretation of work order instructions, etc.
