Requirements of position
JobSquad is hiring a detail-oriented and experienced General Machinist to join our
team in Paw Paw, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in
precision work and enjoy operating and maintaining a variety of machining equipment
in a hands-on, production-driven environment.
· Proficiency with Vertical Mills, Surface & OD Grinders, Boring Mills, Lathes, and more · Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude · Ability to read micrometers and blueprints/schematics. · Computer literacy and basic math skills · Detail-oriented and committed to quality. · Must own TOOLS and be able to lift 50–75 lbs. · Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities of position
· Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
· Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
· Troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
systems.
· Maintain quality control and a clean, organized work area.
· Collaborate with team members and work independently.
