| Key Responsibilities
- Order Selecting: Navigate aisles to build custom orders on stretched or extended pallets based on pick tickets or voice-directed software.
- Pallet Runner Duties: Use the extended length of the equipment to carry bulky or double-stacked pallets efficiently across long transport distances.
- Loading and Staging: Transport completed loads to the shipping dock and directly stage pallets onto outbound trailers.
- Inventory Handling: Assist with cycle counts, restock pick locations, and rotate stock as needed.
- Wrapping and Securing: Use stretch wrap to secure completed pallets to prevent product shifting during transit.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform mandatory pre-operational safety inspections (e.g., checking brakes, battery, and hydraulics) and report any mechanical malfunctions
Core Requirements
- Licensing: Must possess or be willing to obtain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification under OSHA regulations.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, and stand for extended shifts.
- Equipment Proficiency: Experience navigating warehouse environments with elongated or oversized pallets without damaging products.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to pedestrian and equipment safety protocols across busy facility floors
