Job Description:                                                          
 
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in a direct hire opportunity. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end accounting activities, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with corporate and government accounting standards within a manufacturing environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and consistent accounting records
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support daily banking activities
  • Review capital expenditures and ensure proper account coding
  • Track and reconcile fixed assets, tooling inventory, and related accounts
  • Manage purchase orders and cash disbursements for programs/projects
  • Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities
  • Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget and forecast)
  • Support financial forecasting, business planning, and audits
  • Work closely with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, reconciliations, and Excel-based analysis
  • Assist engineering and program teams with financial and purchasing support
  • Follow company policies, accounting standards, and safety procedures
  • Perform additional accounting duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
  • Professional accounting designation required (CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA)
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Automotive manufacturing experience is considered an asset
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively across teams
