Requirements of position
Qualifications and experience:
• Must be mechanically inclined and good with hand tools.
• Must have knowledge of basic electricity and be familiar with AC and DC
components
• Computer knowledge a plus • High School Diploma or equivalent. • EPA certification • Communicate clearly using written and verbal skills, fluent in English. Behavioral requirements: • Must be detail oriented and able to follow specifications on test procedures • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, energetic, forward-thinking, and creative with high ethical standards and keen attention to detail • Maintain positive work environment • Good working knowledge of warehousing, shipping, production, and inventory control • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines both independently and within a cross-functional team environment • Sense of urgency and self-motivation; possess the ability to solve complex situations, be resourceful, and use independent judgment • Reliable and dependable to scheduled work shift • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
Responsibilities of position
Main responsibilities:
• Operates A/C units to confirm they function properly.
• Uses diagnostic equipment to trouble shoot and correct problems if they
exist.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department
supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and
follow prescribed safety
regulations.
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum
supervision.
• Follow all safety rules, ISO requirements and build units to the highest
standard of quality.
