Requirements of the position
An egg collector job involves gathering eggs from poultry farms, which includes
collecting them from nest boxes and the floor, ensuring they are clean and
undamaged, and handling them gently.
Key responsibilities · Egg collection: Picking up eggs from nest boxes and ground level, often multiple times a day, especially in large facilities. · Handling and packing: Handling eggs carefully to avoid breakage, separating them by quality, and packing them into trays or cartons. · Physical demands: Requires repetitive tasks like bending, lifting, and walking. Must be able to work at a steady, sometimes fast pace.
