Job Description:
We are currently hiring a Driver Helper to assist with local deliveries for a well-established food distribution company. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working in a team environment and are looking for a steady Monday-Friday schedule.
Pay & Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 3:30 PM (until route is complete)
- $18.00/hour
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the route driver with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Deliver products safely and efficiently to customer locations.
- Help organize and secure products on the delivery truck.
- Use proper lifting techniques to move products throughout the day.
- Assist with warehouse duties before and after delivery routes.
- Operate a forklift when needed to load and unload product.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work in refrigerated warehouse areas and around seafood products, including fish.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments.
- Must be comfortable working around fish and other seafood products.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move products throughout the shift.
- Strong attendance and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
