Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Job Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $35/HR Job Description: Pay Rate: $35/HR Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Diesel Mechanic:Efficiently perform quality repairs on lift trucks, industrial equipment and fleet of Mack, Freightliner and Heavy Trucks. Quality RepairsPerform proper maintenance on assigned vehicles.
Maintain an adequate and accurate parts inventory.
Complete service jobs on time and correctly on the first attempt.
Diagnose and repair Toyota propane forklifts, Mack, Freightliner and Western star heavy trucks and other equipment.
Remove and replace hydraulic hoses
Troubleshoot Brakes, Tires
Accurately complete and submit paperwork (e.g., work orders, time cards) daily.
Read and comprehend technical manuals.
Use appropriate test equipment for troubleshooting.
