Requirements of position




The JobSquad is currently looking for Remote Customer Service Representatives who are residents of the state of New Jersey to join our client’s team.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Must be a current resident of New Jersey
  2. High school diploma or equivalent
  3. 2+ years of professional work experience
  4. 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other MS Office programs
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  6. Ability to focus on repetitive data tasks with strong attention to detail
  7. Able to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer
  8. Must be able to pass a background check
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  10. Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Previous business processing or back-office experience
  2. Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
  3. Strong computer and data entry skills, including high accuracy and speed
  4. Organizational and analytical skills with ability to multitask
  5. Ability to type 45–50 words per minute
  6. Skilled in problem-solving and critical thinking
  7. Team player with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping customers
  8. Ability to work limited overtime as needed
  9. Takes pride in providing exceptional customer experiences
 
Responsibilities of position





Responsibilities:
 
  1. Handle non-scripted inbound and outbound calls with commercial energy customers
  2. Provide professional outreach to assist with billing, payments, and account questions
  3. Review and process energy incentive applications for eligibility and accuracy
  4. Support customers via phone, email, and online chat
  5. Maintain detailed and accurate account documentation
  6. Ensure all communications follow compliance and confidentiality standards
  7. Perform additional administrative and back-office support duties as needed
