Payrate: $16 Pay increases every 30 days
 
Shift: 8am – 6pm  40 hours per week, 8 hours a day, must be available during this time

The Jobsquad is seeking a Customer Service Rep in Jackson, MI to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people, and has strong customer service and data entry skills.
As a Customer Service Rep, you’ll be responsible for answering calls, assisting customers, resolving concerns, and providing accurate information while maintaining professionalism and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service and data entry experience preferred.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with computers, email, and call center CRM systems
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
 
 
Responsibilities of position





Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls courteously and professionally.
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and company policies.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues quickly and effectively.
  • Document interactions and resolutions in the call center CRM system.
  • Assist with account management, billing inquiries, and order processing.
  • Establish payment arrangements for delinquent customers.
  • Ensure all calls meet quality standards and follow company procedures.
  • Manage workload efficiently to balance speed and service quality.
Additional Requirements
  • Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to compliance regulations (FDCPA, HIPAA, FCRA, TCPA, PCI, ISO 27001)
  • Regular attendance and reliability required.
  • Must be able to sit, talk on the phone, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform occasional physical movements (bending, reaching, standing, walking)
  • Comfortable working in a busy, climate-controlled call center environment
