The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Custodian/Shipping and Receiving Support to work at a company located in the Grass Lake, MI area!

Pay/hours for position
 
Payrate: $18-20/hr (depending on level of experience)
 
Shift: 1st Shift
6:00am-2:30pm (Hours may vary, Weekend Overtime as needed)
Requirements of position
 
Skills and Qualifications: 
  1. Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning
  2. Previous forklift experience
  3. Experience with using cleaning equipment, including floor buffers, and cleaning solutions
  4. Ability to stand/walk for long periods, life up to 30-50lbs, and bend, kneel, or crouch to perform cleaning duties
  5. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, safe environment
  6. Ability to work independently as well as within a group setting
  7. Work safely and follow all plant safety rules and PPE requirements.
  8. High School Diploma or equivalent 
  9. Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings.
 
Responsibilities of position
 
Responsibilities: 
  1. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and buffs floors; cleans walls, class and surfaces in offices and production areas.
  2. Empties, collects, and disposes of trash and recycling from production floors, including hazardous waste management in some roles.
  3. Sanitizes and disinfects restrooms, locker rooms, and break areas, restocking supplies daily.
  4. Uses industrial cleaning equipment (e.g. floor scrubbers) and may perform light maintenance, such as changing air filters or light bulbs.
  5. Complies with OSHA safety regulations, properly handles cleaning chemicals, and reports safety hazards to management.
  6. Degreasing machinery, cleaning production equipment, or cleaning up metal shavings/debris
  7. Aid shipping/receiving (unloading/loading) as required
