Pay range is between $65k 75k

Requirements of position

 

1. * Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as logistics, international business, or law.

Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field, with a focus on compliance.

Certifications like CBP (Customs Broker) or CHB (Certified in Homeland Security) can be beneficial.

 Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs laws, and relevant laws governing freight forwarding.

 

 

*Regulatory Compliance: * Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs laws, and other relevant laws governing freight forwarding.

2. *Documentation Review: * Review shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, to ensure accuracy and compliance.

3. *Risk Management: * Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks, such as sanctions, embargoes, or restricted party screenings.

4. *Internal Audits: * Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

5. *Training and Support: * Provide training and support to colleagues on compliance matters.

6. *Collaboration: * Work with various departments, such as operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure compliance is integrated into business processes.
