Job Squad is looking for CNC Machinist 2nd Shift in Dover, Ohio.
This is a direct hire role with the company
Afternoons: 3:25p-1:55a, Monday -Thursday (Four 10-hour shifts)
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Perform necessary machining operations as outlined in job routing
- Use overhead crane to move parts in and out of machines
- Setup material, machine, and tools to perform necessary machining operations
- Set feed rate, speed, and depth of cut based on material, tool, and operation type to maximize equipment efficiency
- Use precision gauging to make offset adjustments to machines to ensure compliance to specifications detailed in job routing and blue print
- Check & certify gauges
- Extended periods of time standing and walking on concrete floors
- Experience setting up and running CNC and/or manual mills / lathes
- Experience with precision measurement devices
- Experience with blueprint reading and other technical drawings
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
