| **Active Class A CDL Required**
Key responsibilities
Operate a terminal tractor (yard truck) to move semi-trailers between docks, storage areas, and other designated spots within the yard.
Perform daily safety checks on the yard truck and trailers, report any maintenance issues, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
Ensure trailers are correctly positioned for loading and unloading, and work to prevent congestion in the yard.
Communicate with other drivers, yard staff, and management to coordinate movements and maintain an efficient workflow.
Assist with docking procedures and, in some cases, help with the loading and unloading of trailers.
Keep the yard clean, organized, and report any hazards to management.
