Requirements of position




  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the logistics or transportation industry.
  3. Proven track record in carrier sales with a focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  4. Strong understanding of carrier operations, freight management, and supply chain processes.
  5. Excellent negotiation, networking, and communication skills.
  6. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  7. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Ability to travel as required to meet with carriers and attend industry events.
  9. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for driving results.
  10. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment.
  11. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  12. Adaptability to changing market conditions and client needs.
 
Responsibilities of position





  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, ensuring mutual growth and profitability.
  2. Develop strategic partnerships with regional, national, and global carriers to expand service offerings.
  3. Identify and secure new carrier accounts to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  4. Negotiate contracts and agreements with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  5. Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and drive business growth.
  6. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the carrier industry.
  7. Stay updated on competitor activities and emerging technologies in logistics and transportation.
  8. Provide actionable insights to leadership based on market analysis.
  9. Collaborate with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless carrier onboarding and operational efficiency.
  10. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align carrier sales strategies with broader business objectives.
  11. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, carrier performance, and revenue growth.
  12. Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on carrier sales activities and outcomes.
  13. Develop and refine KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
