| Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations; at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Forklift certification preferred.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and warehouse conditions.
- Full-time position: occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.

| Position Summary:
The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily warehouse operations — including shipping, receiving, storage, inventory control, and staff supervision. This role ensures that warehouse activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily warehouse operations including inbound and outbound shipments, storage, and order fulfillment.
- Supervise warehouse associates, assign tasks, and monitor productivity to meet operational goals.
- Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the logistics and customer service teams.
- Oversee receiving, inspection, and proper documentation of incoming goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse layout, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards; promote a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) as needed.
- Assist in training, evaluating, and coaching team members.
- Support the Warehouse Manager with reporting, scheduling, and administrative duties.
- Serve as acting Warehouse Manager in their absence.
