Job Summary:
Located in Goodyear, Arizona, we are a leader in aerospace maintenance and repair services, committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence. These are Direct Hire positions offering competitive pay and a generous benefits package as well. 
 
The A&P Mechanic III is responsible for servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and overhauling aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure continued airworthiness. This role involves the repair, replacement, and rebuilding of aircraft structures, systems, and components, as well as the assembly and installation of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and structural elements. The position requires strong familiarity with FAA technical data and strict adherence to maintenance standards and documentation protocols.

  • 1. 7am-4pm 
  1. 2. 3:30pm-12am *(includes additional $0.50/hour differential)
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform all maintenance work in accordance with FAA-approved data and regulations.
  • Accurately document all work performed to ensure proper tracking and compliance.
  • Conduct repairs, replacements, and overhauls on aircraft structures, systems, and components.
  • Assemble and install aircraft systems, including electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and mechanical parts using both hand and power tools.
  • Adjust, align, and calibrate systems using gauges, test equipment, and machinery (e.g., rivet guns, sheet metal brakes, welding tools).
  • Ensure all assigned work cards (routine, non-routine, customer requests) are completed and signed off correctly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including DOT-mandated drug and alcohol testing protocols.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
 
Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 7 years of recent experience utilizing an A&P license.
  • Experience with large commercial aircraft preferred; corporate, general aviation, or military aircraft experience considered.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with FAA documentation standards and aircraft logbook entries.
Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work any assigned shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
 
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a variety of weather conditions and confined spaces.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
