Responsibilities of position
|
|
| The Repair Coordinator manages repair orders and works closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure repairs are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage repair orders
- Communicate with repair vendors to track progress and resolve issues
- Review and approve vendor quotes, negotiating for cost savings when needed
- Allocate parts from inventory to help reduce repair costs
- Monitor repair timelines, follow up on delays, and update ETAs
- Generate and review repair order reports
- Support Sales with repair orders tied to customer shipments
- Assist Receiving with issues related to incoming repaired items
- Work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice questions
- Meet performance goals and maintain efficiency standards
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Comfortable working with vendors and cross-functional teams
Experience:
- Previous experience in repairs, logistics, or supply chain preferred
