Accounts Payable Administrator

High school diploma or GED required; minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable.

Proficiency with computerized accounts payable systems and Microsoft Office.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Professional judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Process all accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry and coding.

Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.

Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.

Prepare and issue payments in accordance with payment schedules.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and documentation.

Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with policies.

Provide support and backup for related functions such as Payroll and Capital Project tracking.

Ensure tasks are completed on time, with accuracy and attention to detail.

Promote teamwork and a positive work environment within the department.

Attend team and plant-wide meetings as required.

Ensure compliance with company policies, quality systems (e.g., TS16949), environmental standards (e.g., ISO14001), and health and safety regulations (OSHA).

Perform additional duties as assigned.
