The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a 2nd and 3rd Shift – Maintenance Mechanic to work at a company located in the Germantown, WI area!

Position Location



 GERMANTOWN, WI
 
Pay/hours for position




Compensation: $27.00-$32.00 based on experience
Sign On Bonus: $2500.00
OT is always available and can be signed up for
 
 
 
2nd Shift:
$1.50 Shift Differential
Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm
 
3rd Shift:
$2.50 Shift Differential 
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am (or) Monday – Friday 10:00pm-6:00am 
 
Weekend Rotations – all maintenance employees are put on weekend rotations and the schedule is planned 1 year in advance so everyone knows what weekends to expect to work.
 
 
 
 
Requirements of position



  1.  Industrial Maintenance experience
  2. Troubleshooting
  3. Preventative maintenance
  4. Conveyor belt, packaging machinery
  5. Food manufacturing experience a huge plus
  6. Lock out tag out
  7. Pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, pumps and valves, mechanical repair, electrical repair a plus
  8. CMMS work order system usage
  9. 4 years of maintenance mechanic experience

Job Responsibilities: 
  1. Perform preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance and repairs on equipment and finds solutions for improvements to equipment to keep them running at or above required efficiency levels.
  2. Trouble-shooting and solving problems with mechanical systems such as fillers, conveyor, and case erectors.
  3. Use of test equipment such as vibration meters, laser alignment systems, etc. 
  4. Trouble-shooting and solving problems of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  5. Maintain accurate work logs of repairs using the CMMS work order system and equipment modifications including preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, to ensure information is available to appropriately manage workloads.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. High School or Equivalency Diploma 
  2. 4 years of maintenance mechanic experience
  3. Food Industry a plus 
  4. Journeyman Card or 4 years of applicable experience as a qualified mechanic in troubleshooting, mechanical repair such as pumps and valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, or equivalent military experience.
  5. Experience and strength in the areas of Lock Out Tag Out 
  6. Demonstrated ability to read and utilize prints and drawings of components and mechanical systems.
  7. Strong mechanical skills and technical aptitude
  8. Demonstrated an organized, logical, and detailed method of troubleshooting
  9. Must have strong verbal and written communication and problem solving skills.
  10. Flexibility and ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays to support production needs is required and can include on call coverage
  11. Ability to read, write and understand the English language
  12. Demonstrated ability to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Associate’s degree in Applied Science, Mechanical Engineering or other related field
  2. Previous experience with mechanical troubleshooting automated systems 
  3. Knowledge of aseptic processes, equipment and products
  4. Journeyman’s Certification as a Mechanic
