Position Location

Pay/hours for position
 
2nd Shift 
Shift Time: 1:30pm to 10pm
$26.00 to $27.00 with $1.00 shift differential
 
3rd Shift 
Shift Time: 9:30pm to 6am
$32.00 to $33.00 with $1.00 shift differential
 
Requirements of position
 
 
The Maintenance Tech performs highly diversified duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting PLC's, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of machines, equipment and plant facilities. This includes scheduled, unscheduled or emergency repairs. Perform regular preventive maintenance which also includes maintaining supporting documentation for the PM’s.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Must have maintenance tech experience (at least 2 years)
  2. Food industry a plus
  3. Mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting PLC's, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of machines, equipment and plant facilities
  4. Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
  5. High school diploma or equivalent.
  6. Must be 18 years of age.
  7. Able to read, write and speak English. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
  8. Able to communicate and take direction from Maintenance Manager and communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager.
  9. Attention to detail.
  10. Legible record-keeping and data entry skills.
  11. Must be highly motivated, flexible and have creative problem-solving abilities.
  12. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  13. Welding and fabrication, full understanding of 3 Phase electrical, three phase motor controls. Troubleshoot AC & DC drives and troubleshooting PLC's.  
  14. Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures.
  15. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  16. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make-adjustments.
  17. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager.
  18. Utilizing Microsoft Office, order and schedule parts as well as jobs.
    1. Perform work in a safe manner and use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times.
