Job Description:
We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused individuals to join our production and warehouse team. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily manufacturing and warehouse operations for a plastic container production facility. The ideal candidate must be comfortable performing physically demanding work, operating production equipment, handling materials, and assisting with general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of plastic containers by operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment.
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines.
- Stack, palletize, wrap, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
- Inspect products for quality and report any defects or production issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory activities as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and production standards.
- Support machine setup, basic troubleshooting, and production changeovers when required.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Perform general warehouse labor and other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and reach throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production environment.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, including exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, machine operator, material handler, or production experience preferred.
- Experience operating production machinery is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to safety and quality.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position.
- Overtime may be required based on production demands.
- Warehouse and manufacturing environment producing plastic containers and packaging products.
