Requirements of position
 
 This position requires the Machine Operator to maintain and operate machinery in good working conditions.  Your duties will include ensuring the interminable running of productionÙ« maintaining the level of efficiency and qualityÙ« and collaborating with co-workers to help your team achieve high level of productivity.  
 
You should be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standardsÙ« as well as willingness to learn and improve. We also expect you to be a good team player.
 
Additionally, this position requires adherence to Housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety and all other Company Rules and Policies.  This position requires open communication with Supervisors, Maintenance Department, Safety Department, Quality Department, and Sanitation of any concerns producing a quality product.  Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Set up machines to start a production cycleÙ« performing calibrationÙ« cleaning and other activities.
  • Control and adjust machine settings.
  • Maintain daily paperwork (checklist, weights, downtime, specification, and quality records)
  • Conduct tests to check the operation of machinesÙ« on a regular basis.
  • Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift.
  • Verify output to detect any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Inspection of product quality, presentation, and packaging.
  • Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long period of time.
  1. Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
  • 2+ years' experience of working on a Machine Operator position.
