The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a  1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD SHIFT – Food Industry Maintenance Tech to work at a company located in the Bolingbrook, IL area!

 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD SHIFT – FOOD INDUSTRY MAINTENANCE TECH

 BOLINGBROOK, IL 
 
Pay/hours for position





Monday through Friday + Weekends As Needed
6 days each week (as of right now). If they’re scheduled Saturday, they will be off Sunday. If they are scheduled Sunday, they will be off Saturday.
1st Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM – no shift differential
2nd Shift: 2:00PM to 10:30PM – with $1.00 shift differential
3rd Shift: 10:00PM to 6:30AM – with $1.50 shift differential
 
Salary pay range depending tier/experience - $27 to $39
 
Requirements of position




 
90% mechanical and 10% electrical. Looking for a mechanic/technician at this time.
  1. Must be from food manufacturing - co-packaging industry 
  2. We need someone who have previous worked on packaging equipment. 
  3. Looking for a multi-skilled individual within the mechanical space 
  4. Knowledge of how to use volt-meter and power tools. Troubleshoot maintenance. Check for low voltage and high voltage. 
  5. Prefers someone with some type of schooling/ years of experience also replaces this. 
  6. Progression for Maintenance Technicians: We have dedicated lines for our Maintenance Technicians - they would be dedicated to a particular line. Could be production line 1 through 3 or 5 through 7 (for example). Once that individual is fully trained on those lines, we will then move them down to the next set of lines. 
  7. X-ray Machines: detects foreign materials (metal detectors doesn't pick up wood, plastic, etc.) but the x-ray is your second safety alert 
  8. We need our Maintenance Technicians to understand they will be working on these machines and yes, it is a highly preferred item to have experience with

  •  Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make-adjustments.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office, order, and schedule parts as well as jobs.
  • Perform work in a safe manner and always use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
  1. Mechanic Level III: Experience with advanced electrical (resolving electrical issues, reading and writing electrical diagrams, reading mechanical blueprints, building small panels. basic PLC’s (check inputs, outputs, read ladder diagrams, changing small programs) basic machining, fabricating, welding.
  2. Mechanic Level IV: Full knowledge of PLC programming, debugging, ladder diagrams, transfer data and programs, development of new programs. Experience with servo motors.
