| Requirements of position

- Construction Knowledge: A strong understanding of how patterns are constructed, including different techniques and seams.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is crucial in pattern cutting, ensuring that all measurements and markings are precise.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and resolve issues related to fit, construction, or fabric usage.
- Communication and Collaboration: Working effectively with Engineers and production staff.
- This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of fabric cutting and fit.
- Preferably should have a technical background.

Responsibilities of position

| This person would be responsible for -
Creating templates using fabric and translating design ideas into precise reproducible patterns. Works closely with our design engineers to develop patterns, often modifying existing ones or creating new designs, and involved in cutting fabric.
- Pattern Creation: Developing and drafting patterns by hand and ensuring accuracy.
- Pattern Adaptation: Modifying patterns to create variations.
- Testing Patterns: Creating sample patterns to assess fit and make necessary adjustments.
- Communication: Collaborate with designers and machinist to ensure the smooth progression of the design.
- Cutting Fabric: Involved in the cutting of fabric based on the created patterns.
