Previous experience as a merchandiser required Experience merchandising at grocery stores or superstores preferred Valid driver’s license required High school diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities of position
Jobsquad is currently hiring merchandisers for a well-known snack food company. The primary purpose of this role is to service established customers by maintaining inventory levels, rotating product, stocking shelves and taking orders. Accounts to include large chain grocery stores and convenience stores. This position has: Several grocery stores and convenience stores on this route (some locations will need to be serviced multiple times per week) Starting rate of $15.00/hr. Some weekends may be required Some holidays may be required Start time is typically between 5:00am-8:00am Route is designed to be 8-10 hours/day RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate must be willing to perform the following tasks and meet the criteria below: Merchandisers must be able to provide their own transportation. Travel between stores in the area. Must be able to push, pull and lift 20 lbs. Must be able to keep a schedule assigned to the route. Must be able to use a handheld computer. Must be able to manage inventory. Must be able to check-in/check-out products accurately with the receiving personnel.
