Requirements of position
|
|||||
• Associates or Trade School Certification, minimum 2 years’ experience
as an industrial maintenance mechanic/electrician
• automotive experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety rules, instructions
in the use and maintenance of shop tools and equipment, and methods and procedures in mechanical drawings and layout work.
• Ability to apply mathematics skill at first year university level such as
calculus and introductory statistics. Perform arithmetic , algebraic, and
geometric procedures in standard practical applications.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, organization and communication are
necessary. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to multi-task.
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems, prevent errors, and implement
appropriate preventative measures on all production machines. Ability
to develop new techniques or work processes.
• Must be able to give technical direction to others and project leadership
over multiple safety teams.
• Must be organized and able to plan, prioritize and follow through on
projects assigned with minimal supervision. Ability to redirect issues as
they emerge and reprioritize based on current business conditions.
• Entry level Electricians are welcome to apply as TRAINING will be
provided.
• Performs any other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities of position
|
|||||
• Installs power supply wiring and conduit got newly installed machines
and equipment.
• Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and
connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors,
and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning circuits and calibrates control systems used throughout the plant.
• Responds to and troubleshoots various machinery and parts using a variety of test equipment such as oscilloscope and muti-meter.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices. Replaces and lubricates electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
• Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such
as printed circuit boards. Rebuild mechanical components (mechanical drives, gearboxes, valves, pumps, etc.) as required.
• Perform Mechanical Predictive and Preventative Maintenance on all production, facilities, and utility equipment,
• Assist contractors with special projects such as large equipment installations and modifications.
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including,
but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance and maintenance request records.
• Practice safe work habits. Understand and follow company and industry
safety rules. Wear appropriate safety equipment/PPE. Report any unsafe
equipment or conditions to your supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable OSHA and EPA federal and state
rules, regulations, policies and guidelines and Company safety rules. Report any unsafe equipment or conditions to your supervisor.
• Hearing protection and steel-toed shoes are required at all times.
• Must be able to work rotating 12- hour shifts, overtime when required
and be able to cover other shifts when needed, HOWEVER TO START, THE CURRENT SCHEDULE WILL BE 1st SHIFT – MONDAY TO FRIDAY
