Pay/hours for position




Starting wage $35+
 Monday-Friday- Full time – Direct Hire
1st shift (This position allows for shift flexibility)

 1st: 7AM to 3:00 PM
 2nd: 3PM to 11:00 PM
3rd: 11PM to 7:00AM

Requirements:
The Job Squad is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician  for our client in Grass Lake, MI – This role will oversee machine repair, maintenance, and utility systems in an industrial plant. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, prioritize work, and ensure smooth production operations while maintaining company standards and quality.

 Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Journeyman’s Card preferred)
  • Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience 
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • PLC troubleshooting and programming skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Forklift certification a plus
 
 
 
 
Responsibilities of position




 
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Supervise and delegate work to maintenance team and contractors
  • Repair, maintain, and install machinery and equipment
  • Perform maintenance on utility systems to ensure continuous operations
  • Coordinate with purchasing for parts and supplies
  • Enforce and train on safety protocols, following OSHA guidelines
  • Document incidents and ensure compliance with company standards
